Remove Cuba from the State Sponsors of Terrorism List

education

Welcome to the ACERE Education Toolkit section. Our organization is dedicated to promoting a balanced and informed understanding of Cuba and its people, and raising awareness about the unjust and harmful effects of the U.S. State Sponsors of Terrorism designation on the Cuban people.

We know that finding accurate and balanced information about Cuba can be challenging due to the strong anti-Cuba propaganda campaign that has been in place for decades. However, it is crucial to have an accurate understanding of Cuba in order to fully understand the impact of the U.S. State Sponsors of Terrorism designation on the island nation.

That is why we are committed to providing educational resources and accurate information to help people understand the real story of Cuba and the impact of U.S. policies on the Cuban people. Our goal is to empower people with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions and to support a more constructive and positive relationship between our two countries.

Join us in our efforts to educate people about Cuba and to remove Cuba from the State Sponsors of Terrorism List by exploring our educational resources and taking action to support our advocacy campaign. Together, we can create a more balanced and informed understanding of Cuba and help bring about a brighter future for the Cuban people and for our two countries. Be sure to check back frequently for new additions and updates, and feel free to reach out to us with any questions or suggestions. Thank you for your support in helping establish normalization of relations between the U.S. and Cuba!

The Alliance For Cuba Engagement And Respect

The people of Cuba have long been suffering under an economic, commercial and financial embargo by the United States that places restrictions on food, medicine, and economic support from relatives. President Trump not only reversed President Obama’s move to strengthen relations but further tightened sanctions against Cuba. Despite high hopes, President Biden has so far failed to bring about a substantive improvement in relations. After six decades of failed policy, it is time to demand a different path forward.
